Under the Same Sky, a new art and social history exhibition that explores artists depictions of the sky above and the local impact of the weather over time, opens at The Higgins Bedford on Saturday 3rd October 2020.
Mayor Dave Hodgson today took part in an Armistice Day ceremony at the Bedford War Memorial on the Embankment, at 11am. As with Sunday's Remembrance Service, it was a reduced service in line with current regulations and to ensure the safety of all involved. With COVID-19 infection rates increasing and national restrictions in place to reduce the spread of the virus sadly there won't be a big Christmas Light switch-on event this year. However, Christmas lights will still be in place across Bedford Town Centre bringing festive illuminations from today, 16 November.
