Christmas Jumper Day Fundraiser at Borough Hall as Mayor Dave Serves Up Christmas Dinner
Due to the General Election last week, Christmas Jumper Day at Borough Hall was pushed back and is taking place today. Mayor Dave Hodgson is taking part alongside Bedford Borough Council staff, while Mayor Dave also helped serve up Christmas Dinner in the staff restaurant.

Mobile Users Flock to New Council Website
New figures revealed at a Bedford Borough Council Committee meeting have illustrated a dramatic rise in the proportion of people using smartphones to access the Council's website. A startling 59.8% of users of the Council's website since it was relaunched in December 2018 did so using their smartphone, compared to 32.6% using a desktop computer.

Christmas Meals for Rough Sleepers
The Bedford Homeless Partnership has published an updated poster with details of all the meals it has been made aware of for rough sleepers and those in need in and around Bedford over Christmas. They have asked local agencies and partners to share the poster to help ensure that those who in need of the meals are made aware.
