Bedford Borough residents, partner organisations from public services, the voluntary, community and housing sectors recently met for a Cost of Living Crisis information sharing session co-chaired by the Mayor Dave Hodgson and the Portfolio Holder for Health, Public Health and Wellbeing.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bedford Borough residents who held a statutory English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) pass were able to travel on bus journeys outside the hours of operation of the scheme for a discounted fare of £1.
Further work is well underway as part of Bedford Borough's High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) building works.

The event aims to support local businesses, helping them understand the options available to Go Electric. Attendees will learn about a range of electric vehicles, charging options and the financial incentives available.
