Last week Mayor Dave Hodgson visited the Hydro Power Facility on the River Great Ouse. The facility has been generating clean, renewable energy for Bedford Borough and beyond for over 10 years. Since then the Council have been installing and promoting new innovative ways to generate clean energy and reduce the Borough's carbon emissions.

As part of the major annual investment into roads and pavements across the Borough, three more roads are set to be resurfaced by Bedford Borough Council in the next couple of months. Castle Road Gyratory, Eastcotts Road in Kingsbrook and Ridge Road in Kempston will all be repaired and renewed to create a safer environment for all road users.
The Annual Canvass of households, to update the Electoral Register, is now live. Each year Bedford Borough Council have to, by law, find out who is eligible to register to vote.
