The consultation on Bedford Town Centre closes tomorrow, Friday 27th September, and Mayor Dave Hodgson is encouraging those who haven't already to have their say and help shape a new Town Centre Plan.
The Bedford Health and Wellbeing Fair is taking place today, at Bedford Corn Exchange through until 4:30pm, and Mayor Dave Hodgson addressed a partnership session prior which took place beforehand. In addition to welcoming guests and setting out the importance of partnership working in health, he introduced the very distinguished guest Professor Mayur Lakhani, the President of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
A joint initiative between Bedford Borough Council, Bedfordshire Police and other partners in and around Midland Road in Bedford has been launched to help drive out crime and anti-social behaviour and carry out other improvements in the area.
