New classrooms are being built at Cotton End Primary School this year as part of Mayor Dave Hodgson's commitment to replace all temporary classrooms with permanent buildings at schools across the Borough. Sarah said "This is great news for local pupils. In the next few years all of the temporary classrooms will be replaced by proper classroom blocks. We all want the best possible facilities for pupils in the Borough."

Phase 1, planned for this year includes Hazeldene Lower and Newnham Middle. Other schools, such as The Hills Lower, Mark Rutherford, St Thomas More and many more wider afield will follow in the next few years.
