Freeze Fares Campaign Update - House of Commons Select Committee Calls for Commuter Freeze
In a scathing report on the notorious May 2018 rail timetable changes which caused huge disruption to Bedford services, the House of Commons Transport Select Committee has called for commuters' to have their 2019 season tickets frozen at 2018 prices.

Mayor Dave Thanks all Involved on a Remarkable Weekend of Remembrance Events and Activities Across Bedford Borough
Mayor Dave Hodgson has thanked all the groups and individuals who organised or took part in any of the vast array of Remembrance events and activities across Bedford Borough over the weekend. He said a particular thanks to the Bedford and District branch of the Royal British Legion, who 'did themselves and service members past and present proud' on a 'truly remarkable' weekend.

Mayor's Anniversary Thanks!
On the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the start of his first term as Mayor of Bedford Borough, Mayor Dave Hodgson has said a big 'thank you' to everyone who has voted for him, supported local campaigns or who has in any way been part of the shared effort to make our communities and Bedford Borough as a whole an even better place to live in.
