Liberal Democrats reveal that half of prisoners are abandoned on release
Bedford Borough Liberal Democrat Homelessness campaigner Tim Caswell has revealed that more than 100,000 prisoners across England and Wales left prison for "unsettled" or "unknown" accommodation in the last three years, almost half of the 220,411 prisoners released in that period.

A-Level Results!
Exam celebrations for students and staff took place across Bedford Borough today with provisional figures showing that over 98% of our pupils achieved at least 1 A* to E grade and 82% of our students achieved 3 or more A* to E grades at A-level; an increase of around 4% on last year.
